Omaha Central Eagles Freshman jumped out to an early lead over Omaha North and took home a 15-1 victory on Monday. Omaha Central Eagles Freshman scored on a single by Adam Winklebauer and a single by Dylan Baker in the first inning.
Omaha Central Eagles Freshman secured the victory thanks to eight runs in the fourth inning. The big inning was thanks to a walk by Gabe Prescott, a single by Will Anderson, a walk by Mekhi Whitcomb, a stolen base , a walk by Adam Winklebauer, a walk by Dylan Baker, and a single by Prescott.
Omaha Central Eagles Freshman took an early lead in the first inning. Winklebauer drove in one when he singled in the first inning.
Omaha Central Eagles Freshman scored eight runs in the fourth inning. Omaha Central Eagles Freshman’s big inning was driven by a walk by Prescott, a single by Anderson, a walk by Whitcomb, a stolen base , a walk by Winklebauer, a walk by Baker, and a single by Prescott.
Whitcomb earned the win for Omaha Central Eagles Freshman. He pitched one inning, allowing one run, two hits, and walking zero. Two relievers helped Omaha Central Eagles Freshman close out the victory. Liam Kaminski threw two innings. Collin Beckman took the loss for Omaha North. He went three innings, giving up 11 runs, and eight hits.
Omaha Central Eagles Freshman had nine hits in the game. Winklebauer and Baker each collected multiple hits for Omaha Central Eagles Freshman. Winklebauer led Omaha Central Eagles Freshman with three hits in three at bats. Omaha Central Eagles Freshman stole eight bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Logan Dean led the way with two.
Troy Fencroy led Omaha North with one run batted in. He went 2-for-2 on the day.
