Even though Omaha Central Eagles Freshman and Bellevue West both had their opportunities, it was Bellevue West that eventually prevailed 9-8 on Tuesday. The game was tied at four with Omaha Central Eagles Freshman batting in the top of the fourth when there was an error, scoring one run.

Omaha Central Eagles Freshman took an early lead in the first inning. Omaha Central Eagles Freshman scored on a stolen base during Dylan Baker’s at bat. Then Baker singled , driving in one.
Bellevue West took the lead for good with zero runs in the fourth inning.
Bellevue West scored five runs in the sixth inning. Bellevue West’s big inning was driven by a stolen base , a walk by Ault, and a fielder’s choice by Barela.
Strawmier earned the win for Bellevue West. He threw four innings, surrendering six runs, three hits, and striking out three.
Baker, Scott Warner, Easton DeBolt, and Paul Heires each collected one hit to lead Omaha Central Eagles Freshman. Omaha Central Eagles Freshman tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Will Anderson led the way with two.
Young led Bellevue West with two hits in two at bats. Young led Bellevue West with five stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with 13 stolen bases.
